We know how convenient disposable plastic piping bags are, but if you’d rather not use them once and then throw them away, there are greener alternatives – like this 12″ Cotton Piping Bag, which is really easy to wash when you’re done.

Perfect for icing cakes and piping cream, it’s heat-resistant to 70˚C so you can use it for drizzling melted chocolate and piping mashed potato too.

Made from 100% cotton with an EVA coating on the inside (we’ve looked it up, it’s some kind of BPA-free plastic polymer), it’s easy to grip, naturally non-slip, and can take all standard piping nozzles and couplers – just snip off the end to fit larger ones.

And when its decorating work is done, it can be popped in the dishwasher so it’s lovely and clean and ready to pipe again.
