Lakeland Collapsible Colander

Let’s face it, colanders take up a lot of room in the cupboards. When they were first invented (hundreds of years ago!), we weren’t quite as space-savvy as we are now. These days, we like things that do their job, while taking up as little room as possible – which is where the Lakeland Collapsible Colander comes in.

Made from flexible silicone, it folds down to just 3cm deep for space-saving storage – no more big, bulky colanders taking up too much room in the cupboard. And because the silicone is heat resistant up to 220°C, it’s more than capable of straining boiled veg and pasta straight from the saucepan. With handles for easy pouring and a stainless steel frame for added stability, it’s no different to using a normal colander.
