Powerful 15-bar pressure pump

For espresso machines, as well as looking for wattage (like you would for a kettle), look for bar pressure. It controls how efficiently the water is pushed through the coffee – the more pressure applied, the more flavour will be extracted. We’ve designed our Barista Espresso Coffee Machine to deliver 15-bar pressure – the essential level to achieve a rich flavour and beautifully smooth layer of crema.

Back-lit control buttons

Some designer coffee machines come with over-complicated touchscreen control panels with endless menus to scroll through, when all you want is a cup of coffee. With the simple choice of either a single or double shot with just the press of a button, the Lakeland Barista Espresso Coffee Machine is refreshingly straightforward to use, yet still offers that reassuring sense that you’re making coffee properly.

Built-in steam wand

Providing the base for virtually all coffee creations, you can transform your freshly-drawn espresso into your preferred barista-style drink using the steam wand or the hot water function.

The steam function allows you to heat and froth milk for cappuccinos and lattes, while the hot water setting is ideal for americanos or gently warming cups before brewing.

Quick and versatile brewing

Once pre-heated, it serves up a single cup in just 15 seconds, so you won’t be kept waiting for your morning cup of joe. And it’s compatible with both ground coffee and ESE pods, offering welcome flexibility without unnecessary fuss. Built-in overheating and overpressure protection provide added peace of mind while you prepare your favourite brews.

Easy to clean

The detachable frothing nozzle and removable drip tray help keep cleaning simple, and the 1.5L water tank lifts out smoothly for easy refilling.
